Summary
Providing Rewards for Outstanding Tips to Expose Crimes in Technology Act of 2017 or the PROTECT Act of 2017
This bill directs the Department of Justice to establish and publicize a cybercrime reward program for individuals who provide information leading to the apprehension and conviction of persons who commit certain computer crimes.
