Regional Health Care Emergency Preparedness and Response Systems Act

This bill requires the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to publish guidelines for health care facilities on responding to a public health emergency involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear agents. ASPR may also establish a demonstration program to improve medical response systems in accordance with the guidelines.

The Government Accountability Office must report on the progress of health care facilities in implementing the guidelines.
