Summary

Smoke-Free Schools Act of 2018

This bill prohibits the use of any tobacco product (e.g., electronic cigarette) within an indoor facility used for routine or regular provision of children's services, including health, day care, early development, education, or library services. Current law prohibits smoking within such facilities.

The Food and Drug Administration must conduct studies of best practices to discourage the use of electronic cigarettes in schools.
