Recognizing the contributions of American Viticultural Areas and wine-growing regions.

This resolution recognizes (1) the contributions of American wines and distinctive American wine-growing regions; and (2) the value of promoting wines from the regions, including those protected by American Viticultural Area designations or other appellations of origin.
