Madam Speaker, if we defeat the previous question, I will offer an amendment to the rule and give the House a vote on a bill, written by Mr. Van Hollen and Mr. Levin, to extend emergency unemployment benefits paid for with savings from the farm bill that, it seems, this House will pass today. To discuss his bill, I yield 2 minutes to the gentleman from Michigan (Mr. Levin), the ranking member of the Ways and Means Committee.
